Sri Garudapuram Swamy 149th Thirunakshathram Celebrations - Update 1


Sri Kethandapati Swamy Sathsampradaya Sabha held the 149th Thirunakshathra celebrations of Sri Garudapuram Swamy on Wednesday the 24th July 2019 with good fervour at the Sri Kethandapatti Swamy Siddhasramam, Brindavan street, Little Kanchipuram, Tamilnadu.

About 100 sishyas and asthikas participated in the Satrumurai on 24th Wednesday. This is inspite of the grand 48 day function of Sri Athivaradar vaibhavam at Sri Varadharajar Temple..

The celebration was conducted with Veda parayanam and Divyaprabhandha parayanam both in the morning and evening of Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, the Tirunakshathram was celebrated with Satrumurai followed by Sripadaheertha viniyogam and Thadhiyaradanam.

 All  the Asthikas,  Please take note that a new pavementing for going round(Pradakshinam) the Brindavanams of Sri.Garudapuram Swamigal and Sri Kozhiyalam Swamigal has been done  and this encircles the Brindavanam of Sri Kethanadapatti Swamigal also. Also a pathway has been laid from the Ashram to the Brindavanams also. Another concrete pathway of 6 feet wide has been laid leading from the Brindavanam of Sri Kethandapatti Swamigal to the two pillared Gateway to  the Government laid road on Hasthigiri street.This is motorable. All this work had been carried out in a short span of less than a week in this November 2020, with full financial contribution by Thashildar Sri Thaiyar Sampathkumarachar and his group.Sri Thaiyar Sampathkumarachar was personally present on all days during the work and he supervised the works.
